Lumina collects minimal personal information necessary to facilitate anonymous connections. We collect your email address for authentication purposes and the interests/bios you provide to pair you with compatible pen pals.
Your privacy is our mathematical priority. All messages and connections are protected using strict PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS). Cryptographic rules ensure that only the authenticated sender and recipient can access the contents of a letter. No scraping or external reading is possible.
Your interests and bio are strictly mathematically processed by our Algorithmic Matchmaker (using Jaccard Similarity and Full-Text Search) to generate a numeric compatibility score. We do not sell your data or train external AI models on your personal letters.
